The Washington State PTA is one of the largest grassroots advocacy organizations in our state. There are a large number of ways for you to participate in the process at a local, state and national level. We can all make a difference for our children and for every child in this state by periodically speaking up on legislative issues -- all it takes is a few minutes of your time. Legislative Assembly is a gathering of PTA/PTSA representatives from all over the state of Washington. They will gather on October 8-9 to discuss, debate and decide which issue(s) the State PTA will lobby for during the next two State Legislative sessions (2011 and 2012). Please take the survey below about this year's legislative issues, but before you do take a moment to read the guide which explains each issue in detail. By taking the survey you can make your voice be heard about the issues which are important to you. The survey closes on October 1st.
